Our goal with this web site is to enable and encourage you to explore Pensacola’s history and the significance of the Historical Society in educating the community about preservation and awareness of local historical resources. Through this site, you are able to place research requests, access library catalogues, shop the museum store, and view rotating and permanent exhibition galleries. The Internet is a powerful tool for communication and accessibility and as the Historical Society begins to electronically database our collections, you will be able to search through manuscripts, maps, and historic photographs and glimpse the treasures we have been nurturing since 1933. Become a member of the Historical Society today to receive our monthly newsletter, bi-annual magazine, and invitations to our gallery openings and other special events along with other incentives. Book signing by Jacki Wilson, Curator of Research and Collections on Friday, May 9th from 5:00 - 9:00pm in the Pensacola Historical Museum. Jacki will be signing copies of her new book, Historic Photos of Pensacola, in the Museum for Gallery Night.
